Why the hell do we even care????
College basketball should not take over our lives to the point of negligence. I knew that Duke had beaten Butler before I knew that 7 people have died so far after a mine collapsed in West Virginia. Call me pretentious or simply naive, but it really makes me think. I should be paying more attention to actual important events in this world, NOT a college basketball championship! On Google News, the top TWO articles are about the mine collapsing and Duke winning.
From now on, I think I'd rather be informed about meaningful events, not trivial pseudo-news!
